Students must not arrive on campus before 7:00 a.m. unless transported by a Montgomery Public Schools bus. Students will remain in designated areas until 7:30 a.m. During inclement weather, students will report to the gym.

Students must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. For the safety of all students, it is necessary that they be picked up by the designated time. Failure to comply with school procedure will result in administrators contacting the Montgomery Police Department.

Parents are responsible for their children. Parents should make arrangements to get their children to and from school. If a student is not eligible to ride the bus, he or she should be picked up at dismissal time, which is 2:45 P. M. If a parent is delayed, he or she should call the school office and notify them as to what arrangements have been made. When a student is not picked up by 3:00 P. M., officials will attempt to contact parents and others listed in the student's records. If no one comes by 3:00 P. M. and staff is unable to contact a family member, police and/or DHR are contacted. Again, students are not allowed to wait for a ride in a personal vehicle after 3:00 P. M.


Students are not allowed to use school telephones unless it is an emergency. Therefore, arrangements must be made concerning afternoon pick-up prior to morning drop off.
